Used Cell Phones: Turning spare cell phones into money

Anyone stopped you on the street and asked  "do you have a used cell phone that you can spare"?   The embarrassing answer is probably "yes".   Don't be embarrassed any more.   Turn that spare phone into money.    And if you need to buy a cell phone but can't get the subsidized prices offered by the wireless carriers  (usually because you are in mid-contract and lost or ruined your phone) then buy a "preloved" phone and save.
