To Arms! SDG&E Meeting With Public About Sunrise Powerlink

Get out and let your voice be heard! According to today's Union Tribune, SDG&E scheduled four meetings to meet with the community to discuss the Sunrise Powerlink.

Here is the meeting schedule:

Campo: 6 p.m. May 4, Mountain Empire Community Center, 976 Sheridan Road.

Alpine: 6 p.m. May 10, Alpine Woman’s Club, 2156 Alpine Boulevard.

San Diego: 6 p.m. May 12, Scripps Ranch Recreation Center, 11454 Blue Cypress Drive.

Boulevard: 6 p.m. May 18, Sacred Rocks RV Park, 1331 Shasta Way

Mark your calendars, put a rubber band around your wrist, whatever it takes to remind yourself to get to these meetings!

It's extremely important the public shows up, and not just the residents of the directly affected areas that will be permanently disfigured by this 120 mile monstrosity. SDG&E needs to know that all of its San Diego customers do not want the Sunrise Powerlink built!

Unfamiliar with the horror that is the Sunrise Powerlink? Check out UCAN's Issue Center on the subject.
