Time Warner Cable billing glitch

art neill's picture

It appears that Time Warner Cable may have recently charged a number of Southern California customers an additional $5 on their monthy bill. According to a story at Consumerist.com, a Time Warner Cable service representative acknowledged that there had been a "billing glitch," and that customers were required to call in to receive a credit, rather than Time Warner automatically crediting the affected customers.

If you are a Time Warner Cable customer, double-check your last couple of bills to make sure you were not overcharged and look closely at this month's bill. If you find anything suspicious, contact the UCAN Fraud Squad by calling 619-696-6966, or filling out our online Complaint Form.

Time Warner Cable's Unethical Business Tactics

Well, I don't know about this billing glitch, but I do know TIME WARNER CABLE is extremely dishonest. The original bundle we set up was for internet, phone and basic cable. They provided a full 30-day money back guarantee....SCAMMMMMMM!!!!!!

We were within the thirty days three days ago and called to cancel service. A rep said he would take care of it, but said it would be effective Monday and we would have premium channels over the weekend.
I called to find out where to return the equipment and they had not canceled. Today we're one day over and now won't honor their word. Their entire staff is evasive, won't give their names, their address, etc. This is the absolute worst company ever that I've done business with. Anyone contracting with them - BEWARE! They are tricky!
