The FCC's tools are a bit more useful because they give the government some important data that it will be using to maek sure that the broadband markets are functioning properly. In addition to giving you speedtests for your computer, it also boasts a mobile version and a fixed version. The mobile version is available through Apple and Android Application stores, while the fixed version is available at www.broadband.org. And it has a Broadband Dead Zone Report enables Americans to submit the street address location of a broadband “dead zone,” as long as they can see it from their porch in Alaska.
