Consumer Advocates
In San Diego County our local provider is SDG&E, an investor-owned utility that is regulated by the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC). As an nonprofit advocate, UCAN represents the interests of SDG&E utility ratepayers by opposing unjustified rate increases and wasteful spending. Over UCAN’s more than 35 years of advocacy we have consistently challenged SDG&E to justify their revenue requests and effectively contributed to save ratepayers millions of dollars in electricity rates. Learn more about UCAN and the CPUC.
If you have questions about your SDG&E bill, charges, or what UCAN is doing to help you please complete a Request for Assistance form or give us a call at (619) 696-6966. We are here to help!
